Loved it. I quite enjoy a book that delves into mysteries and wartime. This had strong intellectual women who werent afraid to give it everything they had and get through some extremely difficult times.

  • Perfect

A gripping page turner set in two timeframes representing wartime and the stifling sumer of 1976. Period detail and intriguing action involving two female characters made this a story I didnt want to end.

Blimey what story! William Boyd is next Ian Fleming of my generation. The depth of the Secret Service is absolutely fascinating. I have read Solo by William Boyd and really enjoyed it but this far more complex and intriguing. I loved that the two main characters were women who are extremely intelligent and have fascinating pasts. I have recommended this book to lots of people. Three main word to describe this book are: Intrigue, Suspense and thrilling. I'm glad I read my fiance GQ magazine where I saw the book review for Restless. I definitely would of regretted not reading this book.
