    Wonderful hero!

Another hot, sexy read set in the wonderful town of Peaceful Harbor. Honestly, I struggled to get started with this book, having trouble relating to the heroine and her struggles and concerns with Sam at the beginning, but as the story progressed, I became invested in Faith and Sam and their relationship. Sam is perhaps one of the more complex characters I've read from Melissa Foster. He's alpha male, through and through, but has incredible insight into his own past behaviors. He's also a rare alpha-male that not only owns his feelings, but is comfortable talking about them. He actually wants to talk about his feelings. And that's exactly what Faith needs. I think my biggest struggle at the beginning was that I wasn't feeling Faith's pain to the depth or extent that she did, so the creation of WAC felt like an over-reaction. But over time, I began to feel her pain and understood more where she was coming from. And being an internet and web-forum junkie, I get exactly how relationships can build online and be a real as ones that grew in person. I was completely blind-sided (in a good way) by the event that challenges Faith and Sam's relationship, but really liked how Faith and Sam dealt with it and questioned themselves, as well as each other. It gave each of them an opportunity for self-reflection and introspection and an opportunity to see if their relationship could withstand the potential struggles they faced. I love the entire Braden family and got an opportunity to catch up with some favorite members in this book. I look forward to coming back to Peaceful Harbor and checking in with the Bradens and some of the other characters the author has been introducing and endearing to the reader. Disclosure: I received a free copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

    Fantastic Read

Absolutely loved it. Melissa does it again and again. I am never disappointed with her books. Sam is a dream boat and Faith is fantastic. This is the kind of love that every woman hopes to get. Sam may be a player but just like any man when he finds the right woman everything changes. Love is something that no matter how much you try to defy it you just can't. The right couple can always work out their differences in order to come together.

Sizzling chemistry & a must read

River of Love is the third book in Melissa Foster’s The Bradens - Peaceful Harbor, MD Series and it can be read as a standalone. Sam Braden is a playboy, he's sexy, strong, determined and honest about the way he lives his life. He has a reputation of sleeping around and he enjoys his single life, but he knows something is off with him when he starts making up excuses to visit his brother's office, just to see Faith... Faith is a sweet smart girl who has been hurt in the past and as a result, she founded an online support group: WAC (Women Against Cheaters). She dates boring, reliable, smart men because she thinks that's the only way she won't get hurt again. She's very much attracted to Sam and she's fighting their attraction not only because he's Cole's brother but also because she knows his reputation. The player is usually the one who falls the hardest and Sam is no exception. As soon as he realizes he wants Faith not just for a night, he goes out of his way to get her to date her, to prove to her that he's much more than a playboy. Let me just add that the way he sets up their first date is EPIC! I loved it! I loved Sam, the fact that their sexual tension is through the roof and even though I didn't quite love Faith at first, the whole "judging a book by its cover" was a little annoying, I certainly understood her reasons. Sam and Faith's chemistry is red hot, as their relationship develops they open up to each other and Sam slowly proves Faith that he's, in fact, a very sweet, romantic guy but will Faith be able to trust again? Can Sam really change his player ways? Melissa Foster delivers an extra hot contemporary romance with relatable characters, an awesome united family and a sizzling chemistry. River of Love is a beautifully written love story and it's definitely a must read!

    Love this family!

In this 3rd book of The Bradens at Peaceful Harbor series, Melissa Foster continues to weave a magical story of a close knit family living life to it's fullest and finding love along the way! This time it's Sam Braden who gets bowled over by a beautiful woman catching his eye. Sam is the ultimate ladies man! He is a hot, handsome hunk of a man and is never hurting for female companionship. He works hard at the rafting and adventure company that he owns, and he plays even harder. He's not looking for anything in life but to have a good time. Faith Hayes is fairly new to town and is enjoying working for Sam's brother Cole and his partner as their Physician's Assistant. She also works hard to help others through a support group that she started after her life plans disintegrated in front of her. When Sam can't seem to get Faith out of his thoughts, he decides to campaign for a date. She shuts him down quicker than he can turn around, but he's persistent and eventually makes her see that he's not the dog she thinks he is. Can he gain her trust enough to actually make that relationship that he never knew he wanted work out?
