  • Witness Protection gone wrong--or right?

A good, quick read, Dan Chambeaux the zombie P>I> is back in another tale of sleuthing in New Orleans during the Big Uneasy. Mr. Anderson's style is instantly engaging (what other story starts out with the main character, who's already dead, waking up in a coffin in the back of a school-lunch truck?) and grabs you from the opening sentence. Tongue-firmly-planted-in-cheek humor is rampant throughout this story and takes the edge off the the incidents that occur, keeping the tone light-hearted . A very good read.

  • Vote YES for more Dan Shamble!

This was a great story featuring Dan Shamble - I had read the first book in the Dan Shamble, Zombie PI series (Death Warmed Over) and quite liked the humor and wanted to get more of this fascinating character. This short story featuring Dan and a few of the regular characters from that series gives me a hankering to check out the other two novels in Anderson's series.

  • Road Kill

I thought it was really, really good because it was a bit funny and it had a bit of horror in it. gr8.
