  • Has me on the edge of my seat!

4.5 Stars This is book 4 in the Iron Horse Legacy series and it features Bastian McKinnon and Jenna Meyers. She’s his younger sisters best friend and she’s been in love with him since their high school days. He’d been in love with someone else but she died in a car accident before they graduated. He vowed to never love another after that. He joined the Navy, became a SEAL and never looked back. Back in Eagle Rock to look for his kidnapped father, Bastian never counted on seeing Jenna and the protective impact she would have on him. Their chemistry is sparking from the beginning. It’s like their attraction was natural and they stepped into being a couple seamlessly. Like he finally figured out that he’d been in mourning for much too long and the perfect woman was right in front of him. This is an amazing story line with equally amazing characters. I am so invested in these fabulous characters and their missing father. The clues have me on the edge of my seat! I can’t wait for the next book!

  • Romance and Suspense make this a good read!

As the search continues for Sebastian McKinnon and his brothers to find their missing father, they have just gotten their best lead to finding him. But the cost may be the life of Jenna their sister's best friend. To say these brothers are protective of their family is an understatement, especially in this case since Sebastian has always been attracted to Jenna. The danger and suspense continue at a good pace to keep you engaged and reading. You will have you keeping the hope alive for the McKinnon's father will be found.

  • SEAL’s Vow

ARC for honest review with no compensation SEAL’s Vow is book 4 in the Iron Horse Legacy series by Elle James, while a standalone read it has an inner twinning story that continues as a cliffhanger in the story but more clues are leading them to possibly finding their missing father… Jenna Myers, Real Estate agent and private investigator is searching for stolen money from a bank. While checking a potential listing she comes across something inside the house that looks to be a torture scene. Sebastian McKinnon, Navy Seal on leave searching for his father who has been missing hears about the torture scene, wants to protect Jenna and hopefully capture who might have or know where his missing father is… More clues, getting closer to finding the senior McKinnon, searching for stolen money and so much more...can’t wait for the next book in this amazing series!!

  • SEAL's Vow

I received a complimentary copy of this book and I am voluntarily reviewing it. This was a fantastic addition to this series. It can be read as a stand-alone as the author does a wonderful job of telling the sub-plot of the series. The patriarch of the McKinnon family (James) has been kidnapped. The series is following his children as they search for him but also find their soul mates. In this story, Sebastian (Bastian) McKinnon is on leave from the Navy SEALs. It has been eleven years since he lost the love of his life Lauren. She died from injuries sustained in a car accident. Bastian blames himself as he was the driver and also wearing a seat belt but she wasn't. He made a promise to Lauren to never love another. Bastian though comes across Jenna Meyers and things soon start to heat up between them. Jenna is his younger sister's best friend but she is nothing like that young girl. The suspense and intrigue of this story just kept me on pins and needles. We get a few more clues on James McKinnon's whereabouts but the mystery continues!!! I was glued to my poor e-reader. Reading as fast as I could to see if the mystery was solved. At the same time, the sparks were flying between Bastian and Jenna making for a great love story. I adored having this book written in the dual POV format. Getting a glimpse into the characters' thoughts really help me to connect and understand them and their actions so much better. I also loved seeing the prior characters and having them actively involved in the search for their father was wonderful. There was a sexy scene in this book that while was really brief on details just may offend some readers. Because of this, I can only recommend this book to someone over the age of 18.

  • A great addition to this series

This is another great addition to this wonderful series about the McKinnon family whose patriarch has gone missing and whose four sons all military men have returned home to help in the search for him. We have already had Angus, Duncan and Colin's story and now we get Bastian's (Sebastian) Can you see the thread in the names someone likes the alphabet. Bastian is a Navy SEAL and after losing his one true love in a car accident when he was only eighteen he has sworn that he will never marry anyway the life of a Seal doesn't blend very well with marriage it would have to be a special kind of woman to survive her husband been missing most of the time. He and his brothers are searching for their father unwilling to assume that he is dead after all he is ex military and as tough as they come. Then they get a new lead Jenna Meyers a local real estate agent as discovered what looks to be a torture site in a cabin she was checking out could it be where their father was held. Jenna has history with the McKinnon familt she is Molly's best friend and always had a crush on Bastian but he never looked at her that way he only had eyes for Laura When her ex husband almost beat her to a pulp it was the McKinnon women that cared for her during her recovery. When her discovery puts her in danger it is Bastian who will step up to make sure she is safe, and in the process he will start to look at her in a whole new way as he finally found a woman strong enough to be the wife of a Navy SEAL. Now can't wait for the next book in this wonderful series will Molly end up with Parker or is that just a red herring on Elle's part.
