  • Quick paced nice read

Loved the action in this one and that it included a heroine as well as our SEAL. I definitely recommend this book.

  • To be taken as positive suggestions

The story was very good however too many times she was left in a position to be captured again. Smilar to Tesla in book 1. Another issue I find annoying are the gramatical errors. Too often I have to reread a sentence or two because of a missing word or incorrect form. I have found that in many of these books /series. Overall the story was good.

  • Another action packed book by Dale Mayer

Another exciting story by Dale Mayer, Hawk goes home for some R&R but instead finds himself in the middle of murder and a terrorist plot. Mia is the kind of girl that the SEALs seem most attracted to, namely feisty and self-sufficient. Almost immediately upon arriving in town, Hawk has to go after Mia to rescue her and her father when the first of multiple kidnappings takes place. I did wonder how it would be possible for any woman to survive the repeated beatings that Mia experienced and that was very off-putting for me. The team of SEAL brothers work together on finding Mia and at the same time neutralising the threats. There were a few loose ends that left me with questions, for instance who did the knife belong to and did they really get the bad guy in the end? There were also a few odd statements, eg "she squeezed her eyes shut while she watched him." Otherwise this was a well written and action packed story. I read Hawk as part of a box set "SEAL's of Honor: Books 1-3".
