  • Not what you expect~ delightful read

Title: My Sugar Daddy - Sugar Daddy Series Book 1 Author: Trinity Blacio Publisher: Riverdale Avenue Books Published 3-16-2017 Page: 170 Genre: Erotic Romance Sub-Genre: Ménage; Military; Paranormal; BDSM ISBN: 978-1626013582 ASIN: B06XPNC4QN Reviewed For: NetGalley and Riverdale Avenue Books Reviewer: DelAnne Rating: 4.5 Stars I almost did not request this book to review because of its title. I feared it would have little plot and be filled with gratuitous sex. Then I remembered how Ms. Blacio has never failed to deliver a story that was interesting and filled with characters that showed respect to their partners also showed their flaws. Making them more real to life and human. I am glad I changed my mind. The book opens with Laura McGill and explains why she is desperate to find some way to make her and her infant son, Max's life better. Still a bit leery I continued to read. I soon came to despise her lying ex and his wife and understood her difficult choice. Then comes Daniel and Grant Wilmot, strong alpha males with long ties to the military. They believe Laura is the one they have been waiting for. Then the book gets even better. I could not put it down. To give you a clue there are secrets on all sides, terrorist and a beautiful love story to be enjoyed. I can not wait to learn Alex's story, what few pages of it there was I know it will be just as intriguing and beautifully told. Once you start you will not be able to walk away until the last page. Unfortunately the reason I only gave it a 4.5 out of 5 stars was the end seemed a bit rushed. I would have liked to learn a bit more behind the ritual and of Gresan and Evav. Other than that I found no flaws in the storyline or the characters. I moves at a quick pace and keeps the reader glued to their seat, so have some cold water handy to cool you down.

  • Must read on orders to continue in the series

This was a necessary read in order to continue the series. It was not as tightly spun as the first book. Admittedly, it was sometimes a struggle to remain engaged. The ménage was well done but the plot progression was choppy and detracted from the overall story.
