    Thanks for your feedback!

Enjoyed it, well worth the cheap price

A breath of fresh air, this one. Most of all I enjoyed the highly inventive world building, the winding plot and the style of the prose. Josiah isn't afraid to use some rather obscure words and phrases, and I really appreciate that. The book isn't perfect - I feel like it requires a trifle greater suspencion of disbelief from the reader than your typical fantasy book. Mostly concerning the way the Tower is and how the different floors operate; and I found a couple of the characters a bit difficult to believe in as well. That being said, the book more than makes up for any slight downsides. It is an exciting read!

    A brilliant dystopian/steampunk novel.

Absolutely loved it! A most unusual story, the main character just grows and changes as the book unfolds. Very offbeat---one never knows what to expect next; A little reminiscent of Philip José Farmer's 'Riverworld' in a broad sense but vertically inclined and with way more variety, intricacy and (yay!) steampunkiness. If you like quirky characters you'll love this.
