This book was OK . I liked it better than Mason but my dislikes were similar. it is kind of bland and forgettable. the main characters are ok but kind of one dimensional, there really isn't much for drama. there is some cute banter and a but of humour but it is mostly just mediocre.

  • Shane

Loved the book. Light easy read, with enough depth to make you appreciate the reality of the characters, and their personalitys. Left me with a " Living in the land of the common people, kind of feeling." Which I appreciate, Alot of books don't leave me with that kind of feeling of satisfaction.

This whole series has been fun to read. The characters are all believable and enjoyabe. I can't put them down. I wish there were more brothers.

  • Great Western Romance

Shane by S.J. McCoy is a fantastic western romance. Ms. McCoy has delivered a well-written book populated with outstanding characters. Cassidy is an artist that leaves the east to move west to the mountains. Shane wants to go out with Cassidy but she's not having it. Cassidy and Shane's story is packed with drama, humor, spice and a touch of suspense. I enjoyed reading Shane and look forward to reading more from S.J. McCoy in the future. Shane is book 2 of the Remington Ranch Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

  • Great read!

Really loved “Mason” and enjoyed this story, too. Liked that this story had fewer steamy sex scenes.
