    Fascinating!

I was enthralled! This is the first book I've read by Siri Mitchell; I can't wait to read more of her words. She Walks in Beauty helps us to better understand the life of a young debutante in the 1890's. Clara is doing as she has been instructed, to her own detriment, physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually, as she is forced into corsets and ball gowns, instructed in how to catch a husband, trying to do her duty to her family rather value herself as a child of God.

    Interesting read

Sheds Leighton the life of a woman during the Victorian era. Some things don't seem to have changed !!!!! Like, life depending on fashion !!!
