    Shiang

Not as surprising as Darian.. It followed to closely in narrative and play out the same. A solid read but nothing special

Almost but not quite as the gemmell stories, but mr iggulden is getting there,i am looking forward to starting sword saint,i hopee it reaches the same levels as his previous series of books as they all got better as the series progressed.

    Shiang

It's a worthy successor to Darien but not as inventive and shorter than it should have been. The plot is quite simple. Several dead men are revived on Earth but wearing already living bodies. In modern terms they have a small set of super powers which not only give them power but distorts reality for them in terms of conscience and basic morality. Let's call them the bad guys. The good guys are a set of warriors sent from Shiang to catch an old nemesis for the King and bring him back for revenge. The rest is a buildup to a Darien-blasting showdown. It ends well for the good guys. Pretty simple but the author is skilled and so it's a good read.
