  • Always a pleasure

This is my third reading of Shogun, first via digital. James Clavell's books are always a pleasure to read and difficult to put down. Looking forward t re-reading the other books in his Asian Saga.

  • Brilliant novel

Read this book a long time ago but is definitely one i would go back and read again. I did also enjoy the mini series made from the novel.

  • Great long read about old Japan

This is an oldie but a goodie that kept me company and distracted on many recent flights. A Vivek, detailed picture of ancient Japan and its samurai and daimyo.

  • True piece of art

One of the best books I've ever read. It had everything: humor, history, cultural aspects, love story, gore, racy scenes, philosophy, war...everything. I was stretching the last pages, going back, rereading the best parts and savouring every sentence.

    Thanks for your feedback!
