  • It says life won't always be like this because I '

What a way to leave a girl hanging! This ends on a serious WTH are you doing moment!! "It says life won't always be like this because I 'm going to find a way to make it better. I need to work hard, work smart, and I'll achieve whatever I set my mind to..." - Harp Life has forced our young heroine (Harper) to grow up a bit quicker than the norm. It also, sadly, has given her a slightly jaded perspective of the world. I adored that her character took charge and did the adulting even when she shouldn't have had to and yet at the same time she still was able to hold a bit of that childhood magic in her heart. Drake is your typical self absorbed, egotistical, I am a god in my own mind lead singer. When the lovely Haper does not drop and drool at his feet ... well, that just won't work for him. The chemistry between these two is pretty instant. The old adage about opposites attracting definitely applies here. It seems that Harper has a lot more secrets than she is letting on and some of them may cost lives. But she isn't the only one withholding secrets that could shatter innocent lives. This was such a personable and heart-tugging read. The story line was easy to follow and draws the reader in easily keeping them engaged and wanting more. I have all kinds of questions! I need book two now! I still can't believe the cliff I was left dangling from!

  • What an ending!!!

4 Stars Review by Lisa Late Night Reviewer Up All Night w/ Books Blog This is my first story by Lee Piper and I can't wait to read more. Sing to Me is the third book in the Rock Me series but is also the first book in the On Tour duet. As this can be read as a standalone, I am excited to go back and read the previous book. I also can’t wait for the second book in this duet to come out because WHAT AN ENDING!!!!!! This story is fast paced, zips right along and because it is so well written, you are sucked in from the start. There were things that I just needed to find out and then BAM!! it's over. I'm like, "should I pm the author saying I NEED MORE!!" or sit tight and wait? Harper’s number one rule is never to trust a rocker. But since she’s a roadie, coming into contact with them is hard to avoid. So when Drake crosses her path, things get a little shaken up and flipped sideways. At first, I felt like the connection between Drake and Harper was a little off, but as the story progressed, it became explosive. It is an intense story that has a heartbreaking side that pulls at your heartstrings but turn the page and holy cow, things are looking crazy. Well done. I can't wait for the next installment.

  • Captivating and seductive

Sing to Me is a story that will have your heart in your throat and your soul immersed in so many emotions that at times you will be torn between tears, laughter and frustration. Harper is a woman living in a world where her cup is half empty but striving for it to be half full. Drake is the cocky lead singer who is carefree and always with a sexy smirk on his face. As these two collide the sparks that erupt from their cosmic connection will be like a star exploding, something that you will feel a universe away. Harper sees the man behind the rock god, she recognises the darkness that lies beneath and music gives sound to their feelings. Drake’s every thought is consumed by her words, her body and her presence. He needs to stake his claim, he needs to protect and he simply just needs her. The passion and heat that is produced by these two radiates off the page like a force that has no control. However as darkness looms close by, decisions are made and as the cup of positivity drains from Harper, your pulse will race, your heart will be looking for that melody to soothe it and your mind will be left reeling. This first part of their story is captivating seductive and nothing short of mesmerizing.
