5 Star Review Siren Beloved (Texas Sirens #4) by Sophie Oak Firstly this is a M/M/F story so be prepared and possibly my favourite to date in the Texas Sirens series. I really enjoy Ms.Oak (Lexi Blake’s) style of writing and Siren Beloved was one of those reads I could not put down. We have met Lucas Cameron and Lexi Moore in previous books in the series and I knew that when they got their story it was going to be something special. Little did I realise how the pairing of Lexi and Lucas with Aidan O’Malley would come together in such an explosive and riveting story. “What a tangled web we weave when first we practice to deceive”. Aidan made the biggest mistake of his life leaving the only people he has ever truly loved. Uncertain and tormented by his night of passion with Lucas and Lexi, he did the only thing he could think of, he ran, joining the services. Home and recovering from serious injuries, he now knows what he wants from life and that is both Lucas and Lexi; of course knowing that and being given a chance to re join their lives is not going to be easy. They say women are matchmakers, but Lexi’s step father Jack, Julian and Leo all come together to help Aidan in his quest to seek forgiveness and in turn bring all three of them back to life. Not knowing what has happened since he has been gone, will Aidan be able to convince Lucas and Lexi to give him another chance? Can Lexi come to terms with all she has loved and lost and finally open up to those who love her about the tragic secret she holds so tight? Will the danger that Aidan, Lucas and Lexi find themselves in end with their love being destroyed before it gains ground? One click now and find out. Although Siren Beloved is not a particularly long read, I found myself reading well into the night; a story of acceptance, passion, strength and determination. There was romance and suspense woven into the story and the scenes were smoking hot; it was also an extremely emotional read which totally got to me.

  • Working together to make it work!

This book, this story, this three characters, they make me ugly cry so much! But they also made me laugh, they made me snort-giggle, and they will teach you the importance of putting on underwear when you first wake-up Aiden walked away from so much, his whole life, and he wants what he foolishly threw away back so bad. His emotions are palpable and leap off the pages and straight into your heart. He wants to get his life back on track, but is terrified he will fail, no matter how confident he seems Lexi had it all, and wanted more, wanted the moon and the stars, and then lost it all, and then some. She can't move forward, but doesn't want to stay in the past, and is stuck. Self-destructive, in a hole, and no way to do anything but spin, and spin, and spin. She claws her way straight into your soul. She feels everything she did 'before' but the hurt is still sharp, and she can't survive losing again Lucas tries, he tries so hard, but he isn't doing Lexi any good. He is missing half of himself, and thinks he is the reason Lexi and Aiden lost so much. He doesn't see how integral, how important, he is to the whole picture. He backs away when he should surge forward, but he is the missing link that will complete this life that all three need Sexy, emotional, and one of the sweetest happily ever afters ever because of it all, characters you can love and relate to, and a perfect love story, scars and all!

  • Sinfully good

I love Lexi Blake but even more than that, I love the books she wrote as Sophie Oaks. She is always my go to author when I need a really good romantic and suspenseful story with a double sized side of hot and sexy. There is just something about her characters and stories that captivates me from the very first page. And Siren Beloved is not an exception. It is intriguing, romantic, hot, suspenseful, funny... It practically has everything that makes a book amazing in my mind. I love the characters in each one of the Texas Sirens books but I've been waiting for Lexi and Lucas' story for ages. So I was super excited when I got my hands on it. I can honestly say that I wasn't disappointed. Even though my expectations were pretty high. Ultimately, this is a story of losing and finding love again, of finding hope again. A story of second chances and forgiveness. A story of finally finding your place in the world and your HEA. But of course no story like this will be complete without some danger lurking around the corner. And Lexi Blake definitely knows how to build the suspense. In between the extremely hot, romantic, tender and funny moments, she kept me on the edge of my seat, biting my nails and trying to figure out what will happen next. Which wasn't that surprising. It's Lexi Blake we are talking about :D In addition to all that goodness and and extremely hot characters (I mean Logan and Aiden at once, should I say more :D), loved revisiting the characters from the previous books. And it wasn't just a cameo appearance here or there. In a way, they are active parts in the story. Which I simply love <3 To be honest, I can probably talk for hours on how much I loved this book and Lexi Blake books as a whole. But I figure, you don't want to read my blabbing for ages :D So I am leaving you with this hot recommended read and I hope you pick it up because it is definitely worth it :) As for me, I can't wait for Lexi's next book. I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this book. All thoughts and opinions are my own.

Lexi Blake is the queen of storytelling. Ms. blake weaves a wonderful tale, of love and intrigue. We wonder who is trying to kill our lovers and which one is really the target. And we wonder will they get better. Love the book. Please read it
