    Classic showdown

I'm not sure how to review this book. It's a bit of a National Enquirer look at the showdown between Greg Lemond and Bernard Hinault. Hinault's ego would not let him help Lemond in his bid for a tour win. This is one version against another. You can decide who is telling the truth.

    Engrossing Read

Fascinating insight into the 86 Tour De France and the undercurrent of plots and sub plots. Nothing is made completely clear but nonetheless you can form your own opinion. Good stuff.

    Must read for cycling historians

Loved this look at two intriguing cyclists. It is very well written.
