  • Wow, Becks!

I was so excited to read this and it turns out that this was everything I wanted and some! Haddie is still living daily with the grief of losing her sister to cancer, making sure her niece gets as much of her time as she can and battling the pull of desire she feels towards Beckett Daniels. Prepare for an emotional ride as Haddie battles with her internal dialogue and struggles with indecision. Becks is familiar to everyone who has read the Driven series and getting to know him away from his job with Colton is so eye opening. Our country boy isn't really into casual relationships, loves his mother and is very interested in having something more with Haddie. Oh and he is very persistent when it comes to going after something that he wants, he will fight with everything he has. Haddie wants to be with Becks but her insistence of having a 'no strings attached' approach to relationships means she misses out on 'what could be.' She is fearful of not being the person she thinks he needs and has this terrible habit of putting everyone else's needs first. Well what she thinks is best for other people. Haddie is too scared of putting her faith in other people and trusting that they will catch her if she falls. Becks is just.... wow. Who knew that there was this completely different side to him that obviously comes out when he is around a woman he really cares about. He just blew me away with how open and vulnerable is his around Haddie. If only she would do the same. This story pulled on every emotion in me and I absolutely love it.
