A good but not great read

Well-written. Very descriptive language and spoken in a relatable tone and voice. This is a story of a man who accidently finds out as an adult that he has been adopted. His relationships are affected as he finds his place in the world and as he searches for his birth mother. The story revolves around his marriage which is affected by depression and the daily grind. His vocabulary really made you feel a part of the story which is very relatable. But the plot is lacking and the tone a bit depressing. Plus a lack of a suitable conclusion made the book not a book you really looked forward to returning to. The book is worth a read though and has many interwoven themes and three-dimensional characters.
