  • Somebody I used to know

This is such an inspirational read. Although i have no one in my family with dementia I think we should all understand a little more. I work in a hospital and we have older patients coming through our door. I just wanted to understand what to do, how to do it, what to say, how to react. Wendy took me through this

  • very informative

What an amazing book, an extraordinary insight into the life changes as dementia takes its toll. Helping the family and friends understand what is not said or talked about. Thank you very much Wendy for allowing us into your private life to enable us to help others.

  • a thought provoking and educating five-star read

Somebody I used to know by Wendy Mitchell a thought provoking and educating five-star read. This is an inspiring read and one I will be telling everyone who knows and deals with someone with dementia as it shows us behind the curtain, shows us the side we can be afraid to ask the questions of. This is an insightful and honest story and it makes you want to go and shake a very brave woman’s hand.
