  • A great read, the ups and downs of probably the most underated band of all time.

I am sure if you are a fan of the band The Church this book will be essential reading, Steve Kilbey in my humble opinion is a genius musician, and more than that he makes a very good writer of books too. The book feels honest and puts into perspective why The Church are not one of the biggest band in the world, a cacophony of drugs and missed opportunities, but saying that the band stayed together and made fantastic albums and have never disappointed. From my point of view reading about a bass player, like me, that wanted to play bass is interesting, most bass players seemed to be protested as being lumbered with the role as they weren't good enough to play guitar. Highly recommended!

    Thanks for your feedback!
