The Caveman has met his match

Can a very bad boy behave when put on the naughty step by a very attractive yet sassy woman? Surprise - the answer is a most DEFINITE yes! I mean sure - he may have had a few opportunities to maybe stretch the rules of good behaviors, but completely justified *wink*. One of my biggest 'pet peeves' is meek women. Just no - no thank you. I need my women strong and independent; willing to stand up to the hero. Well, Karrie does try. But when Matthew is like a man-on-a-mission, she just gets cuffed by his actions and has to go along with the ride. These two characters stole my heart equally. Ms Madison had just enough humor, warmth and love that you felt along the pages. There is action and a minor twist, but not to leave you wrung out from drama. It's just everything I look for in a contemporary romance novel. I loved the other intertwining stories but this can be read as a standalone. When you are looking for that perfect balance of delivery in a story, look no further!

The title fits this story to a T!

In my opinion, there are only a select few authors out there who can pull off the whole insta-love, bossy alpha romance stories without me losing interest. Natasha Madison is definitely one of those authors. Matthew, Mathew, Mathew. Oh, how I love that man. He's a pro hockey player. He's sexy. And a total bossy alpha. But he's not creepy stalker alpha, like others I've read. Is he over the top? Yes? Was he funny as hell in his ways? Absolutely. The way he pushed his way into Karrie's life had me in stitches. Karrie, Karrie, Karrie. I love her equally as much. Adored her innocence. And how she was unafraid to call Matthew out when he was being overbearing. But she was helpless to his onslaught. And her talking to herself rants. LOL! She sounds like me. In a nutshell, this story was SOMETHING SO PERFECT!

Something So Perfect: Matthew and Karrie

I freakin loved this latest book by Natasha Madison!! This is the story of Matthew and Karrie. Matthew was drafted into the NHL at the age of 17. He got sucked into the party lifestyle and it impacted his game and almost cost him his career. Karrie's father is the owner of the team that Matthew plays for. He asks Karrie to help Matthew stay on the straight and narrow. Karrie is horrified that she is a glorified babysitter to the resident bad boy. Matthew is upset that he has the boss's daughter to babysit him...he is a grown man doesn't need a babysitter even though she is pretty hot. The chemistry was instanteous....Karrie was a bit reserved at first but Matthew convinced her to his way of thinking. Matthew is an over the top alpha male...caveman if you will and it showed throughout the story. I freakin loved that about Matthew. They together were what each other needed...absolutely perfect for each other. This is truly a love story free of angst and drama...the characters were awesome. A perfect read. I can't wait for the next book Natasha writes....I highly recommend this book to everyone. Another top read of 2017 for me. Well done!!!!! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

    Loved it

5 Star review of Something So Perfect (Something So #2) by Natasha Madison This was only the second book I have read by Natasha Madison and the first from this series. Despite not having read the previous book I had no trouble following this story. When bad boy NHL player Matthew Grant is given one last chance to resurrect his damaged career he jumps at the chance. He knows that this is it and he is determined to get his career back on track. However, he doesn't count on Karrie, the chaperone, who is charged with babysitting him and keeping him out of trouble being so attractive. Despite themselves, Matthew and Karrie are drawn to each other and sparks ignite. Can they both ignore the sizzling attraction that lies between them or will they decide that the risks are worth it? Something So Perfect was at times like riding an emotional roller coaster; I laughed, I cried, I swooned. Matthew could be an arrogant jerk and yet he was also sweetly romantic. Karrie is one of those heroines who is feisty and one you just know could be a friend. I look forward to reading more in the series from Natasha Madison.
