  • Song of the Skylark

Very enjoyable, easy reading. I liked the way different stories were intertwined with a variety of age groups, times and perspectives. Kept me interested to the end.

  • Touching warm and unputdownable

A surprising early twist leading to a change of direction that took me by surprise. It was warm and both interesting and touching.

A brilliant read could not put the book down full of twist and turns and emotion it made you realise how grateful one should be and never take anything for granted for life is to be lived to the full and learn from the older generation they have so much to give from their experience

  • Erica James at her best!

A lovely story spanning life of a youthful American girl in the pre ~2 W W period, through the War ,in England to the present day . As told to a girl, who learns much from the lifestory's telling .I ended up in tears at the beautiful conclusion .

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Disappointing

Not the promised summer read I'd hoped for. The reviews in front of book I felt were misleading. Different style from the author to previous titles. Not a light read but in places dark. Sadly not for me.

    Thanks for your feedback!
