  • A Must Read

5 angsty as f stars This series just keeps getting better and better and my mind is blown at how well-written this series is. I do suggest you read the entire series and even the Southern series ( you will not regret it) to really understand all the characters and dynamics. I can't believe I have another over-the-top Alpha to love and Asher is amazing. I loved every scene with Amelia and him, they made me feel like I had butterflies in my stomach. Amelia loved her character's do me, for me, attitude, she was tough but still soft at the same time. The secret was astonishing and I am undone by having everything came together and connected. I loved every word I wish it didn't end.

  • All the Feels

I’m really not sure if my words can do this amazing read justice but I’m going to give it a go….. Amelia and Asher’s journey blew me away, I was drawn in and captivated from the first page to the last line. You know you are reading a very special story when you fall hook, line and sinker as well as being riveted to the story, Natasha Madison paints pictures with her words and you will certainly connect with this couple and the rest of the family and friends who all have a part to play. This book has it all, it’s romantic, it’s sweet yet hot, it’s emotional yet witty, there are secrets and at times it will tug on your heartstrings but it’s a fast paced, beautifully written love story that will appeal to a wide range of audiences. I love this series but it seems to be getting better with each release and I’m sure I have said before this ones my favourite, well I’m going to say it again because Southern Secrets has jumped to the top of my best reads of 2021. Perfect addition to a fantastic series.

  • Sweet!

Amelia and Asher took my heart. There is angst and secrets that don't want to come out but eventually they have to. I loved the connection they share and the relationship they develop. You can't help but be sucked into the story from the very first page.

  • WHY Can't We Give MORE Than 5 Stars??!!

"Buried secrets never stay buried for long" That tagline is so appropriate for every one of the books in Natasha Madison's Southern series BUT....in Southern Secrets??? It COMPLETELY BLEW ME AWAY!!! I DID NOT see that coming, AT ALL!!! WHY can't we give more than 5 stars for books like Southern Secrets???!!! Asher's backstory is one that absolutely ripped my heart out! It's no wonder that he's lived a transitory life since he turned 18 and was no longer in foster care, but then he comes to town and meets Amelia and her family....and it's unlike anything he's ever known before. They make him feel like he's a part of the family, that he's worthy of their trust, friendship and love. And when tragedy strikes, like he knew in his gut it would, he figured it was time to move on...again! But he didn't count on Amelia and the rest of her family! They protect what's theirs and they've claimed HIM as theirs....except he's hiding a secret that could tear this family apart! Amelia has her own secret that she's been hiding. She's had her heart broken in the past and she's not willing to put it out there to be broken again. When Asher appears in their lives, she fights the attraction and tells herself that nothing good could come from it. He's a drifter and at some point, he'll leave....right? As time goes on and he becomes entwined in her life, she doesn't realize just how much he means to her until the unthinkable happens! The twist NOBODY saw coming that ABSOLUTELY BLEW MY MIND!!!! I ADORED both Asher and Amelia and the way their slow-burn love story unfolded! The suspense and drama starts IMMEDIATELY in the first chapter and builds to the UNFORGETTABLE reveal of the secret that's been eating at Asher's heart and soul! Ms. Madison is an EVIL GENIOUS....and I can't WAIT to see what secret the next story in this AMAZING series will unveil!

  • Madison makes her characters work for a HEA

Oh my word, Southern Secrets was magnificent!! Seriously Natasha Madison pulled out all the stops here. Southern Secrets is chocked FULL of secrets and twists. This is the book that answers all the questions we have. Secrets is book 7 in this series and I HIGHLY encourage you to read or listen to the other books in the series before starting this one. You’ll find yourself caring for all the secondary characters as you read and live their stories along the way. This group hasn’t had it easy… Madison definitely makes her characters work for their HEA! Amelia and Asher were smoking hot! They instantly had chemistry, even if they didn’t want it. Asher has suffered from his past but he’s manly and alphaish without being too in your face. Amelia also has a troubled past and has sworn off men, especially men like Asher. But ever so slowly they grow as people and eventually they find each other. Madison doesn’t make it easy. She’s brutal. Both characters struggle with their past and how it made them into who they are today. Can they learn to trust in themselves and in each other?
