  • Bit disappointed

As a GP I was very disappointed in the amount of statements made by the author that lacked evidence to back them up. Which is exactly what he claims is the problem with current dietary advice. He might be right in everything he says but i'm not yet persuaded by the evidence he presents. I am staying open minded but will certainly use some of the ideas presented when discussing diet with patients. I think his statements about GPs not promoting diets with diabetic patients are not reflective of my own experiences as a GP having worked in several different places. I've never met a practice diabetic nurse who isn't constantly promoting healthy diets. One thing for sure though, it has made me eat more yoghurt.

    Thanks for your feedback!
