  • I devoured every single word.

Confession: I tend to start skimming if the book drags out too much for my taste. However, for Stalker, I devoured every single word. Wow! The suspense, the angst, was an excruciatingly slow burn—understated yet gripping. The interweaving of the two major plot lines was brilliant as they eventually converged together. This book is a must read. Thank you to NetGalley, the publisher, and Gemma Rogers for an ARC of 'Stalker' in exchange for an honest review.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • excellent

Interesting read. Eve was raped. That alone is horrific. Then the book twists and twists as the stalker becomes a stalker becomes a stalker. This story line had me riveted as I did not know how it was going to end until the end.

  • Stalker

This is a story about a women, Eve, who is sexually assaulted on the way to meet up with a friend. The trials she goes through to regain her life. How she sets out to get revenge on the one who assulted her. Support comes from a unexpected direction. It keeps you on the edge of your seat. I read this book as an arc from NetGalley. I gave it 5 stars

  • Disturbing

Stalker was not what I expected, and I was unable to read this book. I found it disturbing, and I just couldn't read it after that. Thanks to NetGalley for an arc in exchange for an honest review.

  • A 4-star rating

The cover and synopsis of Stalker by Gemma Rogers drew me to want to read it. The chapters are labeled with dates when events occur, which is helpful. The first chapter date happens to be my birthdate!! Normally, I'm not a fan of stories that goes back and forth between the present and the past, but this one worked. The story kept the pace and tension forward moving and had me turning pages to get to the next part. The suspect's thoughts were also included in a few chapters, which was eerie and added to the book's depth. The attack lasted seven minutes and the book progresses on how that one life-changing moment had ripples effects. I'm giving the book a 4-star rating, as some middle chapters could have been condensed or eliminated. The story seemed to take a long time to get to the core of the story with her planning and her relationship with her roommate Ben. #Stalker #NetGalley
