  • Stanton and Sammi - the power of love

This is the fourth book in The Demon Squad MC and it keeps the engines pumping while shaking things up from the other books in the series. Stanton, who readers met in book one of the series, was a domineering overbearing jerk who did not treat women well. Here readers learn that he was doing the best he could by covering his emotional pain with drugs and alcohol to deal with his brother’s tragic accident and his father’s less than encouraging behavior towards him. After doing a stint in a rehab facility, he is back in the courtroom to deal with prosecuting his first case where he is enthralled by a firecracker of a woman who bursts onto the scene. Sammi grew up in the motorcycle club as is considered the little sister. She is at the courthouse to give her brother Puck a piece of her mind as he is being arraigned for assault. From the get go, Sammi and Stanton are like two lit matches waiting for the fuse so that they can burn together. Their chemistry is HOT and Stanton is not one to let anything get in the way of what he wants. The question is can Stanton claim a woman and forgo all others? This is one intense, emotional read that will keep any reader pinned to his/her seat until the final word. I highly recommend this series and cannot wait for more. I volunteered to read a copy of this book.
