  • Really Good!!

Very much in the vane of the original movies, and a nice window into a period we have not seen before.

  • Star Wars Life Debt

This is much better that the previous book in the trilogy, Aftermath which was awful. But as I say this is way better and I really enjoyed this one. The characters are explored more this time round and the story itself is engaging with a real Star Wars feel to it. Looking forward to the final chapter, Empires End.

  • Aftermath II

After the battle of Endor the galaxy becomes a place of greater opportunity for some and greater risk for others. Empire or New Republic will aim to claim the spoils, but who would the citizens flock to in their hour of need? What's more important security or freedom, order or anarchy, opportunity or risk? One needs to decide or others will decide for yourself. A very enjoyable read that presents both sides of the argument in favourable terms, however, every upside is intertwined with a corresponding downside illustrated by Princess Leia and Grand Admiral Sloane (in the foreground) and Gallus Rax and Mon Mothma (in the background). Ignoring the past (Empire vs Rebel Alliance) for a moment, which path would offer a more optimum future?

  • Slow burner but stick with it..

Bit heavy going to start, with many subplots, but stick with it.. the story ramps up in a spectacular way.. now to book 3!

  • Enjoyable new star wars

I like the new characters that Chuck Wendig has introduced into the star wars universe. I fund myself caring about what happens to them. I am intrigued to see where the story goes.
