I dont read much because Im very picky but books by Miss Arthur are my top favourite! I enjoyed how she experimented, did her research and wrote a realistic romance story we can relate and not just those same old trope shown on tv that has weak plot but sexy ppl to attract attention from jaded audience. In her stories (sometimes so angsty and dramatic like often I had to put down my phone and breathe) we read as if the characters are real people. Ppl that faced real life challenges and real discrimination and danger instead of just about bed scenes or kinks (oh but the author does wrote really flexible in writing sexy as well as emotional love making in her series) I appreciate how she includes characters of various gender identities of the spectrum and religious beliefs. This is the first book I read that featured a character that had the same belief as mine. Tbh I was both surprised and flattered that a talented and hard working author really went out of their way to do research and created Emmet's character. Honestly homosexuality is taboo in my religion and diff parts of the world has diff views on these folks. I'm grateful that Miss Arthur wrote about Emmet's story (I thought his real name was Ahmad since it kinda sound similar) and thank you for not painting my religion like most incorrect news. It was brave of the author to touch on a sensitive/untouched topic and I really appreciate her take on how Emmet bloomed with his love to Linc. Thank you.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Steady Stroke

Linc and Emmett's story in the second book of Off Beat was sweet and romantic. Worth a read for second chances in life and love.
