  • I want her job

This book is just in time for the most romantic day of the year. And romance it has, although it comes under the guise of a chance meeting, that turns into a sticky situation and then morphs into a job that most women would love to have. Oh, and did I mention that this is from the mind who brought us all those super gorgeous alpha kindred males who, no matter their type or what they say, are always on the lookout for the one woman who will complete them. Yeah, how can you resist a new book from this fantastic author? Once again, she wraps us in a web of amazing storytelling that not only brings these two together, but steals our hearts as well. You are going to want to read this book to see if the thief makes it to the head of the teacher’s class.

  • Grand New Adventure

New Kindred type. New human type. New villains. New planet. New mission. All of these make Stealing Her Heart a grand new adventure in Evangeline Anderson’s Kindred Tales universe. Chain is an M-Switch Kindred. He can leave his body and enter into another male’s. Unlike other Kindreds we met before, he doesn’t switch the other male into his body, but leaves the other male in his own body, making for a precarious situation where the “victim” is aware of what’s happening. Because the M-Switch Kindred are so hated by other Kindreds, Chain has given up on finding someone to share his life, a mate who isn’t prejudiced against him because of his race and abilities. Instead, he has become a skillful thief, well-known to those who need his services. Vicky is a divorced high school teacher of Spanish, French, and Drama. We soon learn that her husband of 26 years had suddenly left her and married his young secretary. Now she is middle-aged, plus-sized and lonely. Just when she had begun to deal with being stood up on the first date she’d had since the divorce, Chain begs for her help, and the adventure begins. The new villains are Varians, a lizard-like race determined to retrieve the artifact Chain has stolen. They follow Vicky, destroy parts of her home and threaten to kill her until Chain arrives to rescue her. To keep her safe from another attack, he takes her to the Mother Ship to meet the member of the High Council who hired him to retrieve both parts of the artifact and return it to the true owners, the Kindred. But Chain learns he must be accompanied by a female when he visits a new planet to obtain the second piece of the artifact. The most logical choice of female to join him on this mission is Vicky. But, of course, very little goes according to plan. The Kindred on the Mother Ship had very limited knowledge about the culture on the new planet, and that leads to unexpected action for the two. This novel treated the problems of prejudice and age in a refreshing new way. Although our heroine and hero are both good, they have been tossed away by societies that can’t see their value. Only through Ms. Anderson’s words can we see a solution to these problems without realizing it until we’ve finished the novel. Naturally, since this novel is a Kindred Tales novel, you bet it’s steamy hot. Actually it’s a bit steamier and hotter than others in this universe! Stealing Her Heart is a compelling read with characters and plot that will keep you entertained all the way through. • Loved

The author knocked it out of the park once again. I love that this story is about an older woman. Us older women dream of Kindreds as well. I thought this was the perfect Valentine story. Here Vicky was getting out and playing the field again. Bet she never thought she would meet a handsome Kindred that would turn her world upside down. My heart truly broke for Chain. Here he was this handsome Kindred who felt so down on hisself and felt so unworthy. He carried so much hurt around with him. He truly needed someone to walk in his life and heal him from his past. I love how hot and heavy things got so heated up between Chain and Vick. These two were defiantly a perfect fit for each other. I love who protective the Kindred are of their women. This is a story I would recommend. It can be read as a standalone.
