  • Stettin Station by David Downing

This is another new author for me and I consider his Station series as "must reads" and hard to put down. Stettin Station is #3 set in 1941 Germary. The series covers life, skullduggery and escapades from 1937 to 1948 in Poland, Germany and Czechoslovakia from the perspective of "normal" people in very abnormal times.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • Stettin Station

Atmospheric novel that very effectively evokes Nazi Germany in the early days of the war. Tense throughout with genuine characterisations.
