  • This is an amazing book

An Excellent Read. Once again Jens Lapidus has put together a very cleaver story, with a diverse range of characters and an edgy plot. I was quite happy when I saw that this book was 514 pages long, as Jens is one Author that can easily keep your interest and attention with this many pages. It’s a great sign when all you want to do is read a book, and this was certainly one of those. Teddy Maksumic had a good job and he was living a normal life since getting out of prison, where he spent several years for kidnapping. He had been in trouble with the authorities for most of his younger life, and he was doing his best to keep his head down, and out of trouble. That was until Benjamin Emanuelsson had been arrested for suspected murder. Since it was Benjamin’s dad Mats Emanuelsson who he had kidnapped, Teddy now felt compelled to step in and see if he could assist in Benjamin’s defence. Emelie Jansson had only just become a lawyer for her company, and she is quite surprised that someone would request her, for a murder defence. Especially since she only had a corporate background in the legal world. For some reason she’s not about to turn Benjamin down, and even with Teddy’s help, it’s becoming quite a dangerous job for them. I’ve really enjoyed all four books in this series, and I would highly recommend all of them. 5/5 Star Rating. I’m also really looking forward to his next book coming out in late 2018 called ‘Top Dog’, which sounds amazing.
