  • Stonehenge by Bernard Cornwell

This is a tale of Love, madness, bravery and sorcery. A unique. Story of the building of Stonehenge, it is unbelievable that the size of. These stones could be carried so far, for their weight alone suggests this feat alone was impossible yet did happened. It is an insight to the strength and bravery of these people who had no use of the now modern implements to build such a huge undertaking. What a wonderful read.

  • Inspiring

Bernard Cornwell once again takes the reader deep into the heart of life in another age. Living in a time when we expect things to happen immediately, the tenacity and dedication of those builders with nothing to use but their bare hands is an inspiration. The era comes to life.

  • Interesting Read

It was an interesting book but not my favourite. I found it a little tedious and I'm a huge fan of Mr. Cornwell. I was curious as to what he would right about Stonehenge. It's not for me one of his usual great reads.
