  • Absolutely Amazing

This is book one in The Prescott's Series and it is Theo and Lauren's story and omg what a great start to a new series. This is the youngest of the Prescott siblings and he was an attorney in family law to protect children after seeing what him and his siblings went through after his parents divorced. This has strong feelings for Lauren who is his best friend and there was no way that he would ever risk loosing there friendship by making a move on way plus he didn't do commitment and that is what Lauren deserved. Lauren works at the New York public library and she had feelings for Theo but she knew that it would never happen as there friendship means the world to her so she puts everything into her music hoping one day she will be spotted and get a recording contract. Theo and Lauren has such strong chemistry but what do you do when two people who are in love with each other but one wants a relationship with a happy ending and the other will not commit to anything, well you have a big problem. The characters and storyline pulled you in right from the first page and I couldn't put it down as I had to keep reading to see what would happen next and it was so addictive. Tara Wyatt is an amazing author and writer and she certainly knows how to keep her reader's attention and I definitely recommend you read this book and others by her and you will definitely not be disappointed. I Voluntarily Reviewed an Arc Copy of this Amazing Book.

  • Is he good enough to love?

Theo, 32, is the youngest Prescott sibling and had a very dysfunctional childhood with rich parents that treated them all badly. He is now a divorce lawyer but is scared of love because he has seen what it can do to people and he feels he is undeserving of love because he is not good enough. Lauren, 29, works in a library but is an aspiring singer/songwriter and has been best friends with Theo since college. She has realized that she sees Theo as more than just a friend and he has feelings for her too but is afraid to act on those feelings. Once Theo and Lauren act on their mutual attraction will Theo’s insecurities tear them apart? I loved this story where friends become lovers but are then torn apart and I highly recommend this book. The author did a fantastic job showing how Theo was letting his past control his life now and his future. Lauren and his other friends and family were very patient dealing with him but he had to learn that he was the only one controlling his actions and his future. • Is Love stupid

OMG. Theo is so utterly delicious. He’s obviously in love with his BF Lauren, whom he is convinced is too good for him. What I liked? How much Theo and Lauren respected and liked each other. They obviously have the hots for each other (both are in serious denial, especially Theo). Is Love stupid? Stupid love. Recommend.

  • Afraid to Love

Theo Prescott is a divorce lawyer, so he has seen the worst that relationships have to offer. He has also seen his family mess when his parents divorced. So he is jaded and his own past relationships made him firmly decide not to enter into one. They never worked out. The only relationship he wants in his life is his close friendship with Lauren MacKinnon. That one he never wants to lose. He adores her, but he doesn’t want to risk the friendship by asking for anything more. Lauren admires all the good qualities about Theo. He’s amazing in every way, smart, funny, and big-hearted. What she doesn’t realize is that he is totally in love with her, even though he is trying not to acknowledge that fact even to himself. He would never risk losing her by fumbling up a romance. As their feelings start to evolve, because even with the best intentions it is impossible to actually stop them, Lauren comes up with a plan. Will the two of them finally realize it’s okay to fall in love? Or will Theo let his past and his fear push her away rather than take a chance of their love not working out?
