    A very enjoyable read

I enjoyed this book and it's two sequels. Tells a story set in France -a failed love affair; building up a business; some sadness and yet some very funny parts. It is light reading and perfect for a day of relaxing!

    Loved it !

I read all 3 parts of Emmy's story this summer . The 2nd part whilst holidaying in the Loire region ! I really enjoyed discovering the kindness of people , the beauty of the relaxed french lifestyle[ unless you are running a guesthouse in gorgeous suroundings] and the events in life which may try to trip you up but aresurmoutable with good friends and family .Recommended to all as a feelgood experience which made me cry at the end !

    A happy coincidence

Chose this book at random for my French summer holiday read. I the thought the setting and places visited within the story sounded familiar so I did some research and I was astonished to discover that it is set precisely where I have a home! We even have a small Gite collection around the corner. Could it be La Cour......? What a lovely coincidence. So it goes without saying that it made a super story all the more enjoyable to read. I will be sharing it with my loved ones so they can enjoy the coincidence too!
