    Super Fuels

I started reading this book and kept putting it down and picking it up until I got past the background material. From then on I could not put it down. The story this extemely well written book is telling should be understood by every person that cares about the future. The solution presented is not technical or financial, it is political and doing nothing will not work. Highly recommend that everyone, regardless of your politics read this book.

Thorium could indeed be a super fuel.

I followed Kirk Sorensen and friends on Facebook and then I came across this book. It was well written giving a history of nuclear energy, and the missed opportunity to harness a much less dangerous form of nuclear energy. By using Thorium as the base for creating a fissionable form of Uranium that doesn't appear in nature long term storage of highly radioactive waste (thousands of years) could have been avoided.
