  • Thank you

What a horrifying, wonderful book. How regular folks like Mr Karmi can survive the horrors they did, and come through it without hatred consuming them is amazing. Thank you sir, you are a hero in my eyes. I know you will say you're no hero, but you are. You are! A very uplifting story. Read it. And pass it on to younger folks so this horror can be learned from.

    Thanks for your feedback!

Hard book to put down. Was interesting to read a holocaust survivors story and how they managed to survive.

  • A Miraculous Survival

David Karmi survived because of sheer determination, courage, bravery and humanity. David holds no thoughts of hatred or revenge. This book should be a compulsory read for refugees, asylum seekers and immigrants.

  • An Inspiration and Hero

I’ve read dozens of books about the holocaust and will read more in the future. I’m amazed at the horrors David witnessed and his ability to forgive. I was stationed in Germany while serving in the Army and met hundreds of very nice people. Yet, it still shocks my conscience that anyone could hurt another human being because of their religious beliefs. An amazing book about perseverance and the importance of making the most of everyday you’re alive.

    Thanks for your feedback!
