Sweet Tea B&B is a timely read being based on a woman that finds out through an online DNA testing site that she has a sister she didn’t know about. Sadly, she finds this out after her mother passes away so not only can she not get answers but she has to share the beloved bed and breakfast with the sister she doesn’t know. This story also talks of forgiveness. Forgiveness of secrets kept and of childhood bullying. The bond of family (even those that just met) was heartwarming to read. The only thing that set my teeth on edge a bit was the book’s description of Northerners. Do people from the South really think and feel that way about people from the North? I am born and raised (and still live in New England) and while some people are as brusque and rude as Kate, I can assure you that the majority of us are not. I hope in future books that Kate’s true nature shines through and represents the Northern perspective better.

  • Sweet Tea B&B

ARC for honest review with no compensation received from Readerslinks Sweet Tea B&B is book 1 in the new series called Sweet Tea by Rachel Hanna and a great start. Mia has taken over the complete running of the B&B after her mother passes. All alone now with no family she decides to do a DNA test in the hopes of finding a extended family…what she finds is a sister she never knew about… Discovering secrets, totally different childhood’s, sharing the B&B, forgiveness and maybe a growing bond between two sisters…only time will tell.

  • Nice story

I like when the story is in a B & B. Easy to read and not too long.
