  • A Fun Callaway Read

What could be better than a Callaway novella? This one features 2 characters we know, Emma and Burke, and one we will get to know better, Ian. Their Grandmother, Eleanor, sets them forth on a quest and adventure to Ireland to visit her ancestral home. They are directed to take pictures and bring memories back for her. Although each Callaway has their own personal issues, they all have individual instructions to follow once in Ireland, which will have an impact on their lives. I found it a great, fun read, which can also be read as a stand alone but will leave you wanting to know more about the Callaways.

  • Lovely Callaway novel from Barbara Freethy

Heartwarming novella as three of the Callaways are encouraged to begin to live their lives more fully! Their grandmother sends them to her hometown in Ireland and arranges for them to follow separate quests to remind them that there is more to life than following their careers and that issues can be handled with help from their loved ones. It was fun to see Emma and Burke with their spouses enjoying their trip and to meet Ian. I can't wait to read his story!

  • Who can Resist

Who can resist a novel weaving family members in their roots in Ireland? Barbara engages you from the first page into the lives of the Callaways. We find pieces of their lives in ourselves. Forgetting that this was a novella only makes Barbara's new book Closer to You harder to wait for.

  • Barbara Freethy: Take me Home

I so loved this story..... Eleanor Callaway has the desire to go home to Ireland, although with Alzheimers the risk is too great. She decides to pick 3 of her Callaway grandchildren to make the pilgrimage instead. Go visit, find their family roots, take pictures, heal and more!! For each of the grandchildren there is a revelation making this an extremely believable, tear provoking story. Grandma has plans that will impact each of their lives in a positive loving manner. I love the Callaways, this was a sweet story bringing us up to date with Emma and Burke. Can't wait to know Ian more!
