  • Excellent, but sometimes still difficult to read

As the title says, many of the promises that make the relationship between Siren and Zeke more complex, have become even more difficult since the previous episode. The choices continue between truths and sins, and even if the truths finally appear gradually, Zeke and Siren remain tortured by what happened to them and they are still pursued by Bishop. Add to that the character of Lucy mentioned above, who is gaining importance and who's playing a important role in their twisted relationship. The story is still as good, even if I look forward to the end of their story which seems to go from suffering to suffering, and for which the happy ending seems to be approaching as quickly as it goes away. Again, the cliffhanger is very well placed. I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book

  • Book 4 for ZekE and Aria

This latest installment felt different to me. We learn more about Lucy and her relationship with Zeke. You also have the push & pull of Zeke and Aria’s relationship. The story does move forward but I felt there was a whole lot of fluff in this book. It almost felt like it was used as a filler. The author knew she had to have 6 installments and in order to stretch out the story until book 6, she used this one to fill with stuff that didn’t necessarily needed to be written. There are some definite key scenes but I feel like they could have been a good many chapters left out. I’m ready for the story to get where it’s going and have a solid finish. I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • Broken promises

This author continues to amaze me with her work. This is book four in the Sinful Truth Series and if you haven’t started this series, you are definitely missing an amazing read. Siren and Zeke are getting closer and the Truth or Sin game isn’t as important to them. Zeke made a promise to each of the women in his life, Siren, Lucy, and Kai and he failed them all! Excellent read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • We are starting to get some answers!!

First of all... this might be my favorite book in the series, which I probably say each time I finish a book but I mean it!! I could not put this book down and as soon as it was over I started to curse that I didn't have book 5 and then I started looking back through the highlights I made in the book so I could reread my favorite parts! I really don't want to spill anything about the plot because everything feels so important to the story but it also feels like a spoiler. On the other hand I know if I say nothing then there is no point for me to leave a review so I am going to do my best to make it spoiler free. Our story picks up where book three ended, Siren is haunted by her time with Bishop and Zeke has no idea how to save her along with keeping the 2 other women he promised to protect over the years safe. After Zeke works to break the hold Bishop has on Siren they finally start to admit some of their feelings. Together they cross the world to check on an old friend that Siren had stashed away and some past truths come out. When the two are called home to play round 3 of truth or sin with Julian, we end up getting a surprise reunion with other characters from the past. When the unthinkable happens and Julian appears to be winning it will be up to Zeke to try and save the day but when he has an impossible choice to make, will he choose correctly? This book left me reeling with the past secrets that came out and the twists that Ella Miles came up with. Siren truly breaks my heart at times, I feel like I have connected with her on some deep level so when her character hurts, I hurt for her. She is always quick to react with her emotions and her default has always been to shut down but I feel like we saw some real emotional growth here, even if she doesn't express it out loud. We get to see into her mind and see some real thoughts, feelings and desires.. it really just makes me anxious for the end of the series to see what happens! Zeke is such a tortured man, always wanting to be the protector but always put in impossible situations too. He is pulled so many different ways in this book with wanting to tell Siren everything, wanting to protect the people in his past, wanting to protect siren and wanting to keep his friend's secrets. I'm sure it doesn't need to be said but I still hate Julian and I think I might even hate him more with this book. I feel like I am starting to piece together his endgame but there is still so much more to learn. I highly recommend this book but make sure you have read books 1-3 first or you will have no idea what's going on! • Outstanding read!

This was the 4th Book in the "Sinful Truths" series and Ella Miles continued to write an outstanding storyline and characters that were so strongly created that I continued to be captivated as I turned each and every page until the very end!
