    Thanks for your feedback!

Loved the book. Didn't want it to finish.

I really enjoyed this book as it spoke to my prairie roots and was a trip of rich description of the wide skies, the unique prairie flowers / plants and the native animals. Over that beautifully described scene, ever changing, was a rich and poignient struggle of a strong grandmother, her daughters and granddaughter as they struggled with the oppression that was / is our colonial past. A great read and well developed characters.

    Tears in the grass

A different read....reminded me of Margaret Lawrence's Stone Angel....love the way she got inside the characters minds..being true to yourself....fighting your past...

    A stirring read

Each character touched me for different reasons. The connection withMother Earth was a wonderful thread in the story.

    Tears

I enjoyed this book. It is a good reminder of the problems of residential schools and of people thinking they know can judge and decide for others.
