    An Absolute Masterpiece!

I was absolutely delighted to learn that Dorothy Koomson, one of my top ten, or quite possibly even my top five favourite authors had written a new novel. 'Tell Me Your Secret' is a top-notch read and an absolute masterpiece! The 'Blindfolder' abducts women, holds them for forty-eight hours and lets them live and return to their life provided they don't open their eyes during this time. If the victims do open their eyes they are killed. The 'Blindfolder' has struck many times and it's a race against the clock for the Police to solve the crime. Detective Inspector Jody Foster leads the Police team trying to apprehend the perpetrator and they find themselves having to enlist the help of journalist Pieta Rawlings who succeeds in securing the rights to tell the story of a survivor, Callie. This was a totally engrossing, rather sick tale of abuse, prejudice and revenge with plenty of twists and turns that certainly had me thinking and playing armchair detective. With very strong and expertly drawn characters, I found myself rooting for them all the way through, especially Pieta. I have read several of Dorothy Koomson's other novels, including 'The Ice Cream Girls' and 'The Brighton Mermaid' and this novel, 'Tell Me Your Secret', is just as good, if not better! A must-read and well worth five stars. Thank you to Dorothy Koomson and Pigeonhole for giving me the opportunity to read this book. This review is my own unbiased opinion.
