  • The Ashford Affair

It's interesting how the author meshes the current date's events with the generation earlier. Very well done.

  • Absorbing read

A wonderful read about the strength of family, friendship and love. A tale where personal histories are hidden because of that love for others. The book slips seamlessly between eras as the story unfolds. It is with a sense of satisfaction that the book concludes, although this only happens through the twists and turns of a truly absorbing and unexpected journey. It is easy to empathise with the characters, complete with all their foibles, frustrations and faults as well as their hopes and fears.

    Thanks for your feedback!
