  • This story is such a feel-good YA Romance and I go

If you've read almost any of my other reviews, you'll know that I am a complete sucker for sexy, sweet and vulnerable "nice guys," so I suppose it's no real surprise that: I. Loved. Kyle. He is awkward and sweet and passionate. He was such a wonderful "nice guy" hero. Faith was also great and I liked their chemistry and the adorable ways they got to know one another. The fact that this was "fake dating" with little actual fake dating and their issues weren't predominantly a lot of confusion over how real their feelings were was refreshing (much as I AM a fan of that trope!). If you go into this expecting a story about a "bad boy," you'll be surprised that this isn't the story of an actual bad boy, but more of a story about misconceptions and how those can affect us. Everyone somehow believes that Kyle, despite the fact that he is so obviously NICE, is a delinquent womanizer, all thanks to too many people who enjoy gossip too much. Faith is also eventually affected by the rumor mill, which is the catalyst for her "bargain" with the resident "bad boy." Ironically, these two are actually both more the opposite of what the rumors have declared them. This story is such a feel-good YA Romance and I gobbled it up at lightning speed, enjoying all of its charm and adorableness. I received an ARC from the publisher to voluntarily review. This is no way influenced my review. My opinion is my own.

  • Awesome

An awesome YA read that shows some of the pressures and issues that are live and real in high school. Faith is dealing with rumors being spread by an ex boyfriend and Kyle is dealing with self esteem issuing stemming from bullying he endured in middle school. Just so happens both are being caused by the same jerk. Faith and Kyle come up with a plan to get back at Cameron (her ex) by pretending to be a couple which will drive Cameron crazy. Kyle has slowly built a rep of the school bad boy. So maybe the rep isn't really who Kyle is but Cameron doesn't know that!! This was a fun read and very well done. I definitely recommend it.

  • Good read with some epic BFF’s

The characters and the story was charming. Only criticism I can make are that 1) I wish there would have been more of a conclusion between Cameron and the main characters. 2) I would have really liked more development of the best friend characters of the MC’s. I loved both Vi and Cade!! They were my favourite characters!

  • The Bad Boy Bargain Review

I wasn’t into the characters and the story seemed too formulaic for some reason.

  • Interesting

Such a different type of love story. I really liked these two and the trails they went through to get to each other.
