    A good but short tale

    Rather similar in style to the Brother Cadfael stories by Ellis Peters, not too taxing and flows nicely

    A tale of a young womann's coming of age, the first time she solved a crime and the launch of her career solving mysteries. A glimpse at life in medival court from a different point of view.

    A Sound Begining

    I liked this tale as an introduction to this series. Gwen is a likable "detective" and her beginners efforts seem believable. The mystery worked and was not obvious. I also,like the Welsh history. It made me want more.

    I loved the characters, the story line, the history. As far as i'm concernd it has everything I like in a book, so far have read two
