  • Loved It!

The conclusion to this series was perfect! We get to see who is Rafael’s love and in the process realize his daughter so is just the cutest. Felicity has to come to terms with Rafael being back in her life and he has to come to terms with being a father and struggling with his duties as king. Their connection couldn’t be denied even if they didn’t outright admit they still loved each other. I only wish we could have seen more of them in the future I received a free copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.

  • I liked it

This is the third book in the series and while it was not my favorite it was still a really good read. I have to admit it took a while for me to warm to Rafael and I think that was because I would have liked for Felicity and his daughter to have been his priority. I had warmed to him by the end though, this was an enjoyable book and great addition to the series

  • There’re so many sparks and so much chemistry

The reserved taciturn king has been an object of fascination for me since this series began, yet this wasn’t quite the man I was expecting to find beneath the crown. I admired Felicity’s fierce independence, but her contrary nature made me want to tear my hair out by the roots. I adored watching these two when everything was working – there’re so many sparks and so much chemistry. However, when their communication breaks down (or just disappears entirely) it was painful to witness their interactions. I was frustrated by this pair’s constant refusal to actually discuss the small problems while they were still small rather than letting them fester to become really big issues in their relationship. Even though Raphael and Felicity drove me to distraction, the ending is perfectly adorable and utterly charming. I’m sorry to see this series end. I received a complimentary advanced copy of this book through Booksprout.

  • Rafael has to work to make Felicity his queen.

As the kingdom of Stolvenia is facing an anti-monarchy movement, King Rafael learns the truth about why Felicity abandoned their relationship three years prior. He also learns he and Felicity now share a two-year-old daughter. For the sake of the monarchy, he insists that she return to Stolvenia with their daughter, and even decrees that they should marry. Throughout this story, Rafael’s focus is on appearances and protocol, rather than on developing his relationship with either Felicity or their daughter, Hope. While the eventual HEA showed him giving her the respect she’s due, his attitude leading up to that fell a little short of compassionate and understanding. Still, it’s a nice conclusion to the three-part story, and I enjoyed each of the books in this series. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

  • Royal Family

Three years ago when Felicity and (King) Rafael had been together, his mother told Felicity he no longer wanted her and to return home. Now they are reunited with some changes and he wants her for his Queen. Interesting story and memorable characters. Good read! I received a free copy of this book and am voluntarily leaving a review.
