  • falling in love

The book begins with Margie's sadness and hurt in learning Evan's secret, and wondering why he did not feel that he could share them with her. Evan, is also struggling with his decision to not tell Margie the truth, when he feels more like himself with her than anyone else. Book 3 captured the moment as the characters are falling in love and make the choice to be vulnerable with one another, and take the risk to share, and trust and love. Andre and his wife's words of wisdom as a nice touch to the story, as well as both their and Chase's practicality and skepticism. Once they have overcome this obstacle, they are able to grow closer, and enjoy many romantic moments together...but in the background, are the lingering questions of what happens when Margie returns to Dare Valley? and even loving each other and knowing the truth, can Margie accept Evan for who he is? The answers are in the final book, The Billionaire's Return.

  • From Perfect Courtship to Troubled Waters

Margie is heartbroken when she finds out Evan is rich. Knowing her background and keeping something like that from her has her doubting him.  Evan knows he has to show Margie that it will be different with them. So he sets a plan to court her. And show her that money does not mean bad things.  As they progress in their relationship the doubts are there but with their love professed Evan believes they can overcome anything together. When he makes a crucial misstep in his courtship and she leaves to go back home, will he get over his crushed, broken heart? Is there any hope for them?

  • Another great instalment to this mini-series

This is part 3 of the Paris mini-series. As mentioned before in my reviews of Part 1 and 2, if you are the type that dislike cliff-hangers, do wait for all 4 of the parts to be out and read it at one go. I think you will love it more. Part 3 was a tad disappointing for me. Margie had found out who Evan really was and she was avoiding him as she didn't know how to handle it. Evan hadn't known that Margie already knew the truth and was worried sick when she didn't answer his calls and texts. Eventually, Margie understands why Evan did what he did and forgives him. That started Evan's courtship of Margie. He was determined to use the short time they had to win Margie's love. After the magic in Part 1 and Part 2, I was hoping for even more magic in Part 3. There were some romantic scenes and Ava once again brought us to the streets of Paris with her writing, but I just wanted a little more. Nevertheless, it is still a great instalment to this series. The story ends sadly when Margie has to return back to Dare Valley. Can't wait to find out how this couple gets their HEA. ** I received an eBook copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review. I was not compensated for this review: all conclusions are my own.

  • Another good read

The story continues now into the third book with Margie and Evans mini series and I am still loving it, this book has lots of emotions and can really feel that the characters are torn through the love they have and Evans billionaire lifestyle that Margie believes that he lives. Can't wait for the final book to find out if they concour it all. ** I received an received copy from the publisher for the purpose of an honest review.
