  • Charming

Thank you Sierra Rose for three charming parts as part three was no exception. I absolutely loved the deeper looks into Marcus’s upbringing, the drama and stress that came from the public’s attention and how it managed to put some much intriguing conflict between Marcus and Becca. The whole unexpected pregnancy aspect was handled beautifully. I liked that they didn’t fall in love with it immediately but actually freaked out, mostly Becca. It gave the book some desired twists and made the relationship all the more stronger for it. Especially the heartwarming moments when they came together again and worked through their problems. The same with the whole talk show interview. I am very happy that as soon as they were officially together they weren’t on the same page and over the heads in love 24/7, that there actually were some differences in opinion and the conflicts and struggles that brought up. It would have been a very dull romance otherwise if they agreed on everything. As soon as the whole interview conflict was handled however the book sort of mellowed out. It was still charming and I liked Marcus and Becca together very much. However it wasn’t the same excitement as previously. The big focus became the wedding and the too much detailed preparations for it. It took a bit too much of a center stage for my liking and it dragged out enough for me to become a bit bored with it. Considering it was their wedding there were still romantic moments between them of course, but it felt a bit repetitive since they kept saying the same sentimental and romantic things over and over with just different words. The book ended on a great note though, with the wedding finally happening and beautiful vows that made the previous repetitive sentiments unnecessary and completely forgotten. This will certainly not be the last I read by Sierra Rose. I am in a way forced to read more since I have a collection of first books from her, but with this series as a entry to her story telling I am more than happy to keep reading.

    Thanks for your feedback!
