  • A terrific read

Easy to read. Doesn’t get tied down in very much medical terminology. Uses historical facts to demonstrate various medical procedures that were in use.

    Thanks for your feedback!

  • The Body by Bill Bryson

A really delightful book. Lots of technical words but don't let that bother you as Mr Bryson doesn't expect you to remember them but just be aware of the chemical structure of the body. He discusses cradle to grave and everything in between. He is very readable and charming.

  • The Body

A brilliant exposition of our eathly selves, written with Bryson's trademark erudition, clarity and whimsy.

  • As good as Bill Bryson gets

A terrific read. Well researched and very well written. What could have been a long, turgid slog is just the opposite. Bryson's quirky sense of humour comes to the fore but is respectful to his subject matter and enhances the technical stuff. Deserves the highest praise.

    Thanks for your feedback!
