  • Poor DCI Gillard

Another brilliant book from Nick Louth full of suspense and twists,I'm hoping there is a sequel to this as justice must prevail and DCI Gillard gets the recognition he truly deserves.

  • The Body on the Moor

A total unexpected ending. Oh my goodness it was full of tense twists and turns. The good guy and bad guy didn't apply in this thriller because the roles are completely topsy turvy. I love Nick Louth as an author, he keeps you on your toes throughout each story.

  • Another excellent one

I have really enjoyed all the books in this excellent series about Graig Gillard and his crew in Surrey. This one certainly didn’t disappoint. Exciting and engaging and very human too.

  • The Body on the Moor

While I usually really enjoy the Craig Gillard books, I did not like this one at all. Gillard’s involvement was just above minimal. The premise that two law-abiding, well-intentioned people could turn into cold-blooded murderers is very depressing and the miscarriage of justice is disheartening. I found little to recommend this book and wish I hadn’t read it.

  • Disappointed

I did not enjoy this book as much as all the other ones in the series. The story/plot to me was very convoluted and DCI Craig Gillard was barely involved in the story???? Also, the ending left you hanging. It was kind of boring but I kept reading thinking it would improve but it did not!

    Thanks for your feedback!
