  • The boy who was Evil's friend

Another book by this author that isn't "comfortable" to read. I found it quite confronting, to see how a person can be so strongly influenced by another.

  • The vulnerability of youth

For all that you know it is fiction, you feel that it could have happened. Hitler had that mesmerising effect, especially on the malleable young. A very nice twist at the end

  • Unforgettable

This is, without doubt, one of the best books I've ever read. It's utterly captivating, and is endearing, tragic, and challenging in equal measure. The way Boyle weaves fiction into historical fact is ingenious; I could barely put it down.

    Thanks for your feedback!
