    Okay

Not as good as other books by sophie hannah, not much of a shocker at the end!

    Very enjoyable read

This novel is bursting full of characters, both major and minor, who each have their moment in the spotlight. Sophie Hannah's description of how people see themselves and how others regard them builds a rich picture of both the central and peripheral players. The subtle and not so subtle bullying that takes place between characters is very gripping with equal attention given to the investigators and the suspected perpetrators of crime. Poetic and literary references embellish the analysis of events and the reader is left wondering who really is the victim in all of this. Really pleasing read!
