  • The Champagne War

A very gripping story - couldn't put it down. Also learned a lot about making champagne that I didn't previously know. Thoroughly recommend this book.

  • The champagne war.

Always a pleasure to read a Fiona McIntosh novel. I have read all of her books, they are enjoyable to read and always a good story in them. Can't wait for the next one..no pressure Fiona. .

  • Un-put-down-able.

This delightful story hooked me from the first chapter and I enjoyed every page as I ran the full gamut of emotions as the story of Sophie, Charlie and Jerome unfolded and captured me. Fiona McIntosh is a supreme storyteller and I think that The Champagne War is her best yet.

  • The Champagne War

An amazing story line as always. Great history around battles of WW1, the intricacies of champagne making, the role women played in keeping life going during the war and a love story with intrigue to keep you reading and in suspense. Couldn’t put it down.

  • Wow!

As always Fiona McIntosh’s stories are hard to put down. This story taught me some new facts I had not heard of before about WW1 and bought to light the pain it brought in so many different ways.

    Thanks for your feedback!
